Faithfulness
God is truly faithful. This year we have been shown his faithfulness in finding us a great house to start the project in, many wonderful people to occupy it and a financial miracle every month. We have received help from strangers at checkout lines, distant friends with checkbooks and other anonymous ones sending us grocery cards. God is working in this house and he is working in people to help with it. It is amazing to see how God brings glory to his kingdom through lowly people such as us.
This year has been full of trials as well, difficulty with finances, housing, relationships… We knew this project would not be easy, but the fact that we are still moving forward shows just how faithful God is.
However, one thing that I have not been faithful in is keeping people in the loop with the house. This house does not stand on it’s own. It has, and will continue to, rely on people who believe that God is working in this place. It is my responsibility to keep you informed of the goings on. I have not been faithful and for that I apologize.
To amend that I have decided to start giving weekly updates and thoughts in this blog. They will be written by me, my wife, and sometimes our residents. Stay tuned to see what is going on in the house and how you can help.
